Casted closure segment of Van Thanh Bridge

In the morning 9^th of March 2017, SCC contractors has organizased for casted closure segment of Van Thanh Bridge - the second special bridge completed in 5 special bridges on Urban railway line 1, Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien.

This is second special Bridge in the 5 special bridges has casted closure segment and complete of construction, before SCC has casted closure segment of Sai Gon Bridge dated 30^th September 2016. Van Thanh Bridge has commenced for construction from December 2015 with technology of constructed by free cantilver method (FCM), superstructure is U box with three spans consecutive and with 150m in length and 11,1m in width. Van Thanh Bridge constructed acrossing Van Thanh Park, and the completion time is 14 months ensures construction schedule was set out.     

There are 3 special bridges Dien Bien Phu, Rach Chiec and Ha Noi Highway Bridge with large span being under construction. Therein, Rach Chiec Bridge in the phase of cantilevered crossing the river for closure segment, expected in June 2017 will be casted closure segment
