Alignment Layout

The 2.6 km length underground section starts from Quach Thi Trang roundabout at the front of Ben Thanh market running underground of Le Loi Street in two parallel tracks, from Le Loi – Pasteur, it runs with double track (2 levels) passing the side of the City House of Opera, Sai Gon Power Corp and along Nguyen Sieu Street, Fafilm to the Bason Manufacture. There are three stations for the underground section. From the Bason Station, the metro will run above ground on elevated track.

The Elevated section under Package 2 starts at Nguyen Huu Canh street, along Van Thanh Canal to the new Van Thanh Station, across Dien Bien Phu Street, across Sai Gon River at Tan Cang area then along the Northern corridor of Ha Noi Highway, until Km 18+2000 where it turns into the Suoi Tien Terminal Station and finally turn right to Depot Area. The route will pass through District 1, Binh Thanh District, District 2, Thu Duc District, District 9 of Ho Chi Minh City and Di An town of Binh Duong Province. (Picture 2: Layout of the metro line).
