Overall construction progress update to march 2017

Overall cumulative actual progress to December 2016 has reached 66.63%, in which design pakage basically completed 98%; construction of sub-structure completed 100% and the construction of superstructure for viaduct by PSM have been completed 98%. At present, the construction of superstructure for remaining special bridges is continuing, as well as viaduct by FCM. The terminal is carrying out the M&E systems, preparation of finishing works and steel roof structure. It is expected that by the end of 2018, the package 2 will be completed.

Construction achieved as follows

  •   Viaduct: Total length 12.5 km

         Construction of sub-structure completed 100%

         Construction of superstructure: in whith 12,0km U-type girder installation completed 313/361 spans (approximately 10,5km).

  •   Station: continue completing for construction of concourse level of stations. The station is carrying out the M&E systems, preparation of finishing works and steel

            roof structure.

  •   Special Bridge: there are 05 special Bridge under construction in which:

             Sai Gon Bridge: complete and casted closure segment dated 30th September 2016

             Văn Thanh Bridge: complete and casted closure segment on March 2017

             Rach Chiec Bridge: expected to complete and casted closure segment on Sep.2017

             Other special Bridge: Dien Bien Phu and HNHW are under construction of superstructure.

  •   Depot: concentration completing for construction of retaining walls and drainage system, implementation for construction of fencing walls and sub-structure of wagons repairing workshop, infrastructure repairing workshop and main workshop.
