Commence construction of Rach Chiec Bridge in March.2015

 Management Authority for Urban Railway of Ho Chi Minh City have constructed Metro Rach Chiec Bridge crossing Rach Chiec River ( District 2 and Thu Duc District) of Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Project,  Metro Line 1(Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien).

 The Bridge is building with 231 m in length and width for two ways of metro, departure and return City center, clearances with height of 6 m and ship clearances with 30m in width. The clumn of Bridge was designed Y-shaped with 7m in length, it have style same Rach Chiec Bridge existed on the Ha Noi Highway. Construction is expected to complete in April. 2017.

While Ho Chi Minh city  Department of Transport has noticed for ensure safety on during construction Metro Rach Chiec Bridge, The ships and boats circulate follow warning buoy and guide of  forces regulation waterway from today to 23^rd September,  2016.

 So, this is the fourth metro bridge of Metro Line 1, Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien is constructed. Three metro bridges had been constructed earlier. Threre are Sai Gon metro bridge, Van Thanh metro bridge and Dien Bien Phu metro bridge.
